Rufus Wainwright To Appear at Terrace Theater |

Award-winning artist, Rufus Wainwright will appear at the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center with special guest, The Webb Sisters, on Saturday, January 9, at 8PM. The concert is a presentation of Silva Touring.
Affectionately referred to by Elton John as "the greatest songwriter on the planet" and praised by The New York Times for his "genuine originality," Rufus Wainwright has established himself as one of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation.
Wainwright has released six albums and two DVDs to date, and has appeared on numerous soundtracks and compilations, as well as collaborating with artists such as Elton John, David Byrne, and Keane. His latest album is a live recording from his Carnegie Hall concert entitled, Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall, and it was nominated for a Grammy. Released concurrently with a live DVD, Rufus! Rufus! Rufus! Does Judy! Judy! Judy!, it captured his celebrated Judy Garland tribute performance at the London Palladium in 2007.

The American Carnage Tour featuring rock bands Slayer and Megadeth will make a stop at the SMG-managed Long Beach Arena on Friday, January 22, at 7PM. Presented by Live Nation, the tour will include special guest, Testament.
Slayer and Megadeth are two bands whose histories are intertwined in defining the hard-rock genre. Individually, their accomplishments are notable, but together they are even more impressive. On the American Carnage Tour, they have joined forces to co-headline in one of the most eagerly anticipated tours of the season.
This is the first time Slayer and Megadeth will have toured the U.S. together since 1991’s epic "Clash of the Titans." In celebration of that and in recognition of the tough economic times many of their fans are facing, the bands are rolling back the prices of a limited number of tickets to the 1991 price of $10.00. |

Benny Hinn Ministries’ Fire Conference will be held Friday, December 4, at 7:00pm and Saturday, December 5, at 10:00am and 7:00pm, at the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center.
The Fire Conference is touted as a life-changing event, featuring in-depth teachings from the Word of God and a personal touch for each person in attendance. Hinn has said that during this conference, he will share information that impacts attendees’ effectiveness as believers in the world today.

Affliction Concert at Long Beach Arena! |

The Affliction Concert featuring rock bands Danzig, Pennywise and T.S.O.L. will be held at the SMG-managed Long Beach Arena on Saturday, December 19, at 6:30PM. Presented by Affliction Holdings LLC, all ticket proceeds will benefit Amnesty International.
Danzig is known as one of the masters of 1980’s rock that formed the backbone of today’s guitar rock movement. The band has sold over eight million records and recently released their latest album, Danzig 6:66 Satan’s Child.
Pennywise has had a legion of fans since their 1991 self-titled debut album. Their popularity continued as they toured into the 21st Century, selling out shows worldwide. The band headlined Van’s Warped Tour in 2007 and last year released their Reason to Believe album.
Orange County-based, T.S.O.L., established themselves in the 80’s rock movement quickly. Their catchy songs were well-received and their live shows were energetic and fun. The band reunited this year after a 10-year separation.
The line-up is subject to change without notice.
As a tribute to fans, Affliction is offering all tickets for the December 19 concert for just $5.00 with all proceeds from the event benefiting Amnesty International. Amnesty International is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally-recognized human rights. The organization has more than 2.2 million members and subscribers in more than 150 countries and regions, and works for justice on a wide range of issues.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will bring his comedic talent to the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 1 at 7PM. The show is a presentation of Live Nation.
Gabriel Iglesias, the high-octane stand-up comedian from Long Beach, California, is well known for his voice effects and impressions. He has made several television appearances including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and BET’s Comic View. He was a guest on the ABC hit sitcom, My Wife and Kids, appeared on Showtime’s original series, Resurrection Blvd., and was one of the stars on the popular Nickelodeon show, All That.
Iglesias has also won several prestigious awards including Comedy Central’s "Favorite Comic of the Year" two years in a row and is recognized as the youngest comedian in the history of Comedy Central to win its "Special of The Year Award."
